I remember playing hide and seek in our living room with orange shag carpeting on the walls. I remember Mom's home cooked meals and sitting at the kitchen table carving pumpkins with Dad. I remember Mom saving glass pickle jars and we used to poke holes in their aluminum tops. After dinner, we'd go out and play in our backyard chasing firefies until bedtime. Sometimes, we were lucky enough to catch one. But most of the time, we giggled, played tag and watched them light up the sky....
In the fall of 2001, after working 2 years at another web design firm, I decided to take the plunge and open up my own web design firm. But what would I call it? Fireflies immediately came to mind as I recalled my fascination with them as child. Even now, I'm still amazed when I see them outside, how something so small, can evoke such light from it's little rearend!
