Adding an e-mail alias account
(For Parcom customers only)
1. Log onto the control panel and type in your user name and password. (This info was provided to you when your account was first set-up with Parcom. If you don't have this info, please e-mail support and we will look it up for you.
2. Go to> Domains> Click on 'yourdomainname.com'
3. Choose> E-mail accounts (POP)
4. Choose> Add new
5. Type in your new user name and password
6. Options: Check> Catch all if you'd like this account to be a *'catch all' account.
7. Options: Check> Enable resonder and type in your Auto responder message. Once that box is selected, anyone who sends you an e-mail will automatically be sent the message that you type in the Auto responder box. This is used primary for when you are going out of town, out of the office or on vacation.
8. Once you've added your e-mail account, you will need to set-up an account with a third party e-mail client program such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, or Eudora. How to set-up your e-mail with an

* Catch All Account: For example if someone send an e-mail to you at webmaster@yourdomain.com. If you don't have an account with that name, but you select, 'catchall' you would still receive the e-mail. If you don't select the 'catchall' that message would be returned 'undelieverable.' |
