Firefly is a proud member and supporter of the Morris Country Chamber of Commerce since 2003. President, Heather McWeeney serves on the Small Business Development Committee and “Experience Morris in the Evening" sub-committee. Recently Heather was 1 of 4 members nominated to join the chamber's "Women In Business" steering committee for a strategic marketing session held at the Park Avenue Club.
In addition, Heather is also very active in the online community of webmasters and is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, The HTML Writers Guild, and The Internatational Webmasters Association. She is a frequent blogger and contributor to many online publications on topics ranging from web design, internet marketing, and search engines.
Heather McWeeney started Firefly in the fall of 2001. She's survived the dot.com boom and has loved being apart of the wild wild west of the internet. Heather lives in Morris County, New Jersey with her husband Dennis and their beloved pooch, Madeline. When Heather isn't designing, she uses her creative talents to write songs, play her guitar and sing at open mics around town. She's also an avid knitter and loves to make handbags and knit sweaters for her pooch. "I knit Madeline a sweater each year for Christmas, she must have at least a dozen. She is totally the best dressed pooch on the block!" |
